The Challenge:

Everyone will come to our office on the date/time mentioned above. We will have a little discussion and you will be given a piece of paper and a pen and you have to provide answers, ideas and solutions to the following questions/problems based on what you think is best:

1. We get hired by bars to do events. We hire promoters who in turn bring people by promoting the event on their facebook, twitter and to friends which results in some people showing up. What is a better way for a promoter to be able to bring a larger group of people? How can we as a company help the promoter? Be practical

2. If you could do anything you wanted, how would you help bars/restaurants generate more customers if you had any resource available to you? Even if you could just make 2-3 customers a day come in, your strategy is probably good. Be practical.

3. What do you think is the best way for Social Evening to helps bars/restaurants generate more business? What functionality should we add to our website (do not recommend design changes) that can help bars and restaurants?

Most Important 4. We have been able to sell some space on our website to bars (here- http://www.socialevening.com/Houston/top25bars.php), and we charge several hundred dollars per month. The specialty of advertising there is that we allow our website visitors to talk to the bars and restaurants. But we need to offer a little more value in order to make our sales easier and make sales faster. The bars and restaurants wanted customers to let them know they came from Social Evening (our website) so that they know where the customers are coming from. What can we add to our offering in order to make our sales easier?

5. How do we find customers and send them to bars and restaurants? Go crazy, think of any possible way that is practical. Don't suggest brining your friends in because that is not practical. A practical solution would be one that is repeatable over and over again.

Think of the best solutions to these questions above. Come to our office during the date and time of challenge. We will have a more in depth discussion and after that you will write down the best and practical answers along with the other people that will be there. We will evaluate each response from all competitors and announce winners before Christmas, just in time for some Christmas cash for you!
